About Us

Riffs Acoustic Music in La Jolla is not your conventional music store. Located in the Bird Rock area of La Jolla in San Diego, Riffs is an acoustic instrument store, carrying guitars, ukuleles, mandolins, and banjos; a learning center with individual and group music lessons from professional musicians; a repair shop for any of your fretted instrument/amp repair needs; and a yoga studio providing live music for yoga sessions on our beautiful ourdoor deck.

We are a gathering place for musicians and yogis alike, a place to appreciate and learn about the wonders of music and enjoy it's pleasures in a variety of experiences. We host jam sessions, workshops, and occasional parties geared towards the appreciation of live acoustic music and it's connection with the body and spirit through the flow of yoga.
